A HEALTHY WORKFORCE ECOSYSTEM INCLUDES DIVERSITY OF SKILLSETS, BACKGROUNDS, AND OPPORTUNITIES
Advanced Technology Independence (ATI), a 501c3 nonprofit organization, is developing a sustainable ecosystem to support America’s semiconductor industry with a predictable pipeline of qualified, skilled, and motivated high-tech workforce for innovation and productivity.
America’s innovative companies and strong economic engine create millions of opportunities each year for education, employment, and career development. Yet too many people, especially among the historically underrepresented populations cannot access the great opportunities that can fulfill their life goals and help them enjoy the fruits of their own labor. ATI is focused on changing that.
We want to create a robust pipeline that includes women and people of color who can gain access to the employment opportunities in the high-tech industry. We want to use AI to place people, not to replace them.
Our mission is to create transformative solutions with generational impact across diverse populations while addressing the advanced technology industry’s workforce needs.
ATI’s mission is validated by the current workforce challenges of the high-tech industry.
Semiconductors and microchips are indispensable components of most modern electronics and powered devices and are critical to industries such as:
The current microchip shortage has been disruptive to the United States’ economy as well as a threat to its national security.

Attracting and retaining diverse talent to the high-tech manufacturing industry requires a comprehensive and systematic solution.
ATI is determined to turn this challenge into an unprecedented opportunity for communities across the U.S.
